In the traditional restaurant of the royal seat of Putbus, classic style and exquisite taste are combined with the highest quality standards. For a long time, the historic Rosencafé has been known as a place of culture, encounter and enjoyment. The Rosencafé Putbus and the Raulff Hotels' own confectionery still exist here today. True to the motto "a life without cake is possible, but pointless" you can choose from a generous selection of cakes and tarts. The young team is always on the lookout for new recipes and creative ideas to give the cakes that special something. In the confectionery Rosencafé Putbus also unusual cakes for any occasion like birthdays, company celebrations, anniversaries or weddings develop. You are welcome to visit us on site and enjoy a piece of homemade cake in the princely ambience of the castle park. Alternatively you can enjoy your afternoon in one of the restaurants of the Raulff Hotels with coffee and our own cake.

Café
Built in 1828 and 1829 for the gardener of Prince Malte zu Putbus, the Rosencafé quickly accommodated prominent guests such as Otto Graf von Bismarck, who wrote here his draft for the constitution of the North German Confederation, the so-called "Putbusser Diktate". From 1957, the former gardener's house made a name for itself as today's famous "Rosencafé". Opened in 2012, we offer you homemade cakes and pastries from our confectionery in the princely ambience of the castle park. In the summer season (June to September) we organise with the town of Putbus on Mondays the event "Music in the Park" with national and international specialities from the grill, accompanied by selected live music.
